A Recipe That Took Me Back

I came across the recipe for Sindhi Biryani on the Sindhi Co. Instagram page and shared it with my wife. She thought it would be fun to make and give it a try.

After she made it, I realized it was actually the same biryani my dad used to make. I always thought he was just making regular biryani, never realizing that it was actually Sindhi biryani.

When I took that first bite, it immediately took me back to the days when he would make it. He’s no longer with us, but that taste brought back so many memories of him and a different time in my life. It’s amazing how food can bring you back to a moment and make you feel connected to someone all over again.
