Finding Family at a Sindhi Wedding

I arrived at a friend's wedding barely knowing anyone.
Within an hour I'd been introduced to dozens of people, all asking about my parents, grandparents, and where our family came from before Partition.
The food kept coming, conversations never stopped, and every auntie insisted I take home leftovers.
By the end of the evening I realized something special about our community. Even if we've never met before, there's an instant connection through our shared history.
I left with new friends and a renewed appreciation for what it means to belong
